The Transportation Operations Management (TOM) team is looking for a Regional Manager with leadership experience to own and execute strategic and cross-functional yard operations.An ideal candidate is organized and has excellent program management skills. He/she has the ability to lead and mentor people; analyze data and make sound recommendations in an often ambiguous environment. One of the main responsibilities in this role is to standardize and improve processes; while analyzing and eliminating root cause of defects within the current systems. Drive a performance culture, instill ownership and create a high-performing team; - Lead projects and initiatives to drive improvements on cost and speed; - Be the main POCof transportation inside FC, being the chairmain to negotiate new projects entrance and act as problem solver to solve issues that affect BR sites; - Establish and own performance metrics and communicate them to leadership; - Ensure the standardization of process across shifts and Sites within BR Network; A day in the lifeThe Transportation Operations Manager has complete responsibility for Transportation Operations at a number of sites within a pre-defined region of the country.
