Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer Shift: Days / 7a-5:30p, 10×4, 40hrs per week, weekend coverage
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements: 3 years of experience in a large tertiary care center is required; may screen if strong skill set and less than three years of experience. Work Setting Experience: Outpatient, Inpatient, ER, Level I Trauma, Teaching Hospital BCLS RDCS- Adult, RCS General Skils Experience: PACS, Portables are both required while TEEs is preferred Equipment/Scanner Experience Preferred: Phillips Oher Details: EPIC Unit Accepts first-time Traveler: Yes Must live within a 60 mile radius of the hospital No local travelers 30 miles or less COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only **0700-1730 for weekend coverage**
**Cardiac sonographer will work 10 hour shift and will scan 8-10 patients per day on average. Sonographer will be expected to perform bedside studies as well as patients who come to the dept. (both inpatient and outpatient). Sonographer will be expected to participate in weekend rotation which typically means every 5th weekend. When working a weekend, sonographer will be expected to take adult echo call after hours. Sonographer may also be expected to pick up a day of call during the week if needed. Sonographer must live within a 60 mile radius of the hospital.**
Daily Caseload: 8-10 pts/ day
