About you and this roleDevelops the Turnaround Quality Assurance strategy, The Turnaround Quality Assurance plan and leads quality assurance during execution. Through the use of Global Turnaround Methodology (GTM), ensures the appropriate and timely involvement of all functions critical to the success of the Quality Assurance part of the turnaround. Constancy of purpose, timely approvals/decisions, and closure on issues are key responsibilities. Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments. Acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience. Supervises in the field during the execution of turnarounds ensuring a quality execution. Ensures Quality assurance services provided by contractor companies fulfill contract requirements in relation to quantity and quality of the job done as well as ensures Dow work processes are followed.ResponsibilitiesDevelops and maintains the turnaround quality plan.Forecasts quality assurance turnaround resource loads and coordinates with contract service to ensure proper staffing levels.Leads turnaround quality assurance teams to develop and implement plans for a series of turnarounds in each of the plants.Ensures plans are updated and archived for future turnarounds.Supervises in the field during the execution of turnarounds ensuring a quality execution.Ensures Quality assurance services provided by contractor companies fulfill contract requirements in relation to quantity and quality of the job done as well as ensures Dow work processes are followed.Looks for opportunities to optimize/improve quality assurance or leads improvement implementation. Promotes innovation in the quality assurance area.Requires full proficiency in a range of technical, operational, or analytical/scientific processes and procedures through job-related training and considerable on the job experience to perform a variety of work assignments.QualificationsMinimum Ciclo Grado Superior in any industry technical area
