Underwriter Property (M/F/D)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for at the earliest possible date at our location in Madrid:Underwriter Property (m/f/d)Job Description- Developing business within distribution channels, prequalifying accounts, and utilizing underwriting acumen to select property risks within company's risk appetite.- Expand and develop new business opportunities through production & marketing calls with brokers and customers.Qualification- 3-5 years property insurance experience.- Proven customer relationship experience. Strong existing broker relationships with focus on the retail brokerage community.- Develop and build the property book of business which includes primary and excess layers.- Experience with, and strong understanding of policy forms, including broker manuscripts.- Strong collaboration and team building skills.- Strong understanding of FIRE & CAT peril modeling/pricing.- Prior experience to refer accounts that exceed Underwriter authorities.- Market focus balanced with technical underwriting following internal guidelines.- Establish, develop, and expand broker and customer relationships.- Work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and make quick decisions while maintaining underwriting integrity.- Strong underwriting acumen.- Strong communication skills including negotiation and presentation experience.- Good Spanish and English language skills.Why MSIGEU?We offer you a secure job with interesting tasks in a trusting working atmosphere with nice colleagues as well as- Attractive remuneration & company pension- Flexible working hours and mobile working- Attractive location in the heart of Madrid- Great employee offers- Dynamic company with flat structures and design options#J-18808-Ljbffr
