Our motto is to move Fearlessly Forward together.Cooperative innovation is at the center of everything we do from our games, new products, and technologies to how we collaborate and share inspiration with one another.Within The Workshop, Host Co. is a managed services provider that values our customers' privacy, data sovereignty, and security.We offer our clients a number of products and services including Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS), co-location in our own data centers, and many other as-a-service' offerings.Our business is made up of diverse,highly skilled people who enable our customers and their businesses by matching the right solutions to their technology needs.Our team, which consists of Product, Engineering, Operations, and Architecture, acts as a cohesive unit to deliver quality, robust, and innovative solutions to enable Host Co. and its customersYour missionAs a Senior Network Engineer, your mission is to lead the charge in designing, implementing, and managing our network infrastructure to ensure the highest levels of performance, availability, and security.You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute network strategies, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize network performance.With your expertise and dedication, you'll play a crucial role in driving innovation and shaping the future of our network infrastructure.What you'll do- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable and reliable network infrastructure in cloud environments such as Openstack- Implement and manage virtual networks, subnets, routing tables, access control lists, and VPN connections in our cloud environments- Configure and manage cloud-based load balancers, firewalls,and other network security features to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data- Automate network provisioning, configuration, and maintenance tasks using scripting languages and infrastructure-as-code tools.- Collaborate with your peers to develop and execute network strategies aligned with company goals, while also providing technical expertise and support for integrated solutions across various teams- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot network-related issues, including latency, packet loss, and connectivity problems.- Implement and maintain robust security measures to uphold the privacy and security standards set by Host Co.- Evaluate and recommend new networking technologies and solutions to improve efficiency and scalability.- Document network architecture, configurations, procedures,and troubleshooting steps for knowledge sharing and training purposes- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to network incidents and emergencies in a timely manner.- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to ensure our network infrastructure remains cutting-edge.What you'll bringBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
