With a clear focus on innovation, Capital Finance designs tailor-made solutions to meet clients' requirements, optimizing their capital structures. Furthermore, Capital Finance team leads the execution of Santander Green Investment, a platform investing in renewable energy projects under development and construction.Working as Vice President presents an opportunity to assist in the identification, evaluation, execution, and management of investment opportunities in energy assets. The role is ideally suited to a self-motivated individual seeking a dynamic work environment. The Vice President will lead the end-to-end execution of a transaction, which includes conducting the financial due diligence and analysis, preparing the materials for Investment and Risk Committees, and negotiating relevant documentation, having direct client exposure and coordinating with the client and different areas involved in the projects such as the risk, legal, markets, and distribution teams. In addition, the Vice President will be assisting in developing new business activities.RESPONSIBILITIESLead industry and market research to support the development of investment strategies or identify transaction opportunities.Support the implementation of the business development and transaction strategy.Support the investment thesis and identification of value creation strategies and assist in developing ideas for a transaction/deal structure.Network and develop new investment ideas to grow the business.Lead the team in all stages of a transaction's life cycle, collaborating with internal functional areas as well as interfacing with counterparties and external advisors
