As the newest member of our IT infrastructure operations team, you will manage a distributed and international infrastructure consisting of Linux and Windows systems. Based on best practices such as ITIL and BSI IT-Grundschutz, you will plan, implement and operate highly available IT infrastructures and data centers with a focus on servers, storage, backup and network-related services. By using our central monitoring systems to analyze errors and identify potential sources of disruption, you will enable our communication and production processes to run smoothly. In this context, you will rectify faults and support your colleagues in the technical support of distributed infrastructure components. Last but not least, you will ensure the detailed documentation of complex technical systems, process flows and troubleshooting strategies to make your specialist knowledge accessible to all employees.
