The Team:
We are seeking a skilled Workday HCM engineer to join our HR Systems team in Madrid. The role will work closely with our People Operations team to provide functional and technical support for all HR initiatives across our Workday application, including Core HCM, Absence, Talent & Performance, Recruiting, Advanced Compensation, Time Tracking, People Analytics, and Peakon.

What you will do:
Design & implement technical solutions for Workday HCM & integrated business applications
Provide Tier 2 support via ServiceNow ticketing system, offering technical guidance and best practices to end users
Troubleshoot & resolve technical issues related to Workday HCM
Collaborate with the People Operations team to develop and implement new features and enhancements.
Modify and re-develop business process workflows
Support new feature implementations by assembling data, gathering workbooks, developing test plans, and supporting UAT
Document system policies, adoption plans, and best practices to ensure Workday scalability across global business.
Maintain system access & security
Qualifications & Skills:
2+ years of Workday HCM experience in a hands-on-capacity
Experience with cross-functional Workday components (report writing, role assignments, mass data loads via EIB)
Proficient in Excel
Must possess a high level of attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with attention to detail
Resourceful - ability to take initiative, and think outside the box to drive solutions
Exceptional at communicating ideas and technical concepts to stakeholders
