.Job PurposeWe are seeking an experienced Workplace Engineer specialized in modern desktop management to join our team. Together with the endpoint management service owner and other team members, you will apply your expertise and hands-on experience in technologies innovation, project and configuration management, also you will work on continuous service improvements and process automations.You will collaborate with solutions architects from cross-functional teams and ensure that our technical solutions meet the needs of our stakeholders. This position requires a strong understanding of modern desktop management concepts & technologies, and also an very strong knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft device management tools like Microsoft Configuration Manager.As the Workplace Engineer, you will also be responsible for managing external resources.Main Tasks and ResponsibilitiesEngineer new technical solutionsApply Remediation scripts, create automation scriptsTaking ownership in problem solving situations (troubleshooting),Collaborate in the technical design and implementation of Digital Workplace technologies, in alignment with Digital Workplace ArchitectsCollaborate and work closely with regional teams to ensure the Endpoint management service is aligned with the needs of different areas of the business. This involves regular communication and coordination with various stakeholders.Project Management: Lead in the planning, execution, and delivery of endpoint device management projects. Ensure adherence to best project management practices, facilitate iterative planning, and drive the team towards successful project completion.External Resource Management: Collaborate with external partners, consultants, and contractors to operate the Device Management service roadmap. Manage relationships, monitor deliverables, and ensure timely and quality execution of tasks.Product Documentation: Create comprehensive product documentation, including user guides, release notes, and training materials, to facilitate the adoption and understanding of Digital Workplace solutions by end-users, administrators, and support teams.Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of Microsoft Configuration Manager and Microsoft Intune. Monitor the health and performance of the endpoint management infrastructure.Second-Level Ticket Resolution: Collaborate with the IT Service Desk and external partners to process second-level tickets, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of complex endpoint management issues.Requirements needed:EducationPossess a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.While not mandatory, certifications can enhance your credentials and demonstrate your expertise in cloud and virtualization technologies.
