The Head of Account Management is a key role in the organisation with leadership responsibilities.The Commercial Team's mission is to drive business past the finish line, simplifying complexity.Our vision is to nurture relationships by bridging the gaps and challenging the status quo.What will you be doing?- Define the team strategy to deliver the mission and goals of the organisation- Actively participate in the strategic planning, forecasting, commercial resource planning, merchant hospitality,travel planning and budgeting activities- Cascade down the company objectives and translate them into SMART goals and deliverables for your team members- Hire and retain the best talent, manage performance when and where necessary- Empower and coach a team of 7 FTEs by supporting them with the tools and resources necessary to perform at the highest standards- Foster a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, openness to feedback and ethical behaviour- Regularly provide feedback to team members, peers, and line manager- Continuously challenge the status-quo by reviewing and improving processes- Hold regular alignment meetings with your team members and the key stakeholders in the organisation including but not limited to Operations, Compliance and Product- Work in conjunction with the VP of Sales to ensure a smooth and seamless onboarding and handover process both ways- Hold team members accountable on KPIs and goals,regularly monitor and forecast key performance metrics of your team's portfolio in each market duly reporting wins and losses to your line-manager- Nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders bridging the gap between them
