Position Overview: As the Director of Application Transition, your primary responsibility is to meticulously oversee the seamless transition of critical applications (>300) from multiple vendors to our organisation.
Applications span across for IT Telcom domains covering BSS (Business Support Systems), OSS (Operational Support Systems), Billing and ERP applications. It cover all life cycles of application development, maintence and operations
Language : Fluency is must in two languages : 1) Spanish and (2) English (written, speaking)

We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Telco Enterprise Architect with expertise in BSS and OSS to join our team and play a pivotal role in defining and implementing our enterprise architecture strategy.
Key Responsibilities of Transition Director: Transition Strategy & Planning: Developing and implementing a transition plan that addresses any risks and dependencies associated with the transition. This may include identifying any potential issues and developing strategies to mitigate them, as well as coordinating the transfer of knowledge, processes, and assets from the existing vendor Team Leadership: Lead a highly skilled team of professionals, including project managers, application specialists, and technical experts, to effectively plan, execute, and monitor application transition projects Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and business units, to understand their processes, risks, dependencies and ensure a smooth transition process. Cultivate strong relationships and clear communication channels with stakeholders at all levels. Risk Management: Identify, assess, and proactively address potential risks associated with BSS and OSS application transitions. Develop comprehensive risk mitigation plans to ensure minimal disruptions and business continuity. Transition Communication & Reporting : Responsible for communicating with and coordinating with various stakeholders, including management, teams, customers, and vendors, to ensure a smooth transition. This will involve providing regular updates on the progress of the transition and addressing any questions or concerns that arise. Facilitate and leading transition meetings Budget Management: Effectively manage the budget for application transition projects, ensuring cost-effectiveness, resource allocation, and accurate financial reporting. Seek opportunities for cost savings and optimization without compromising quality. Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce industry best practices and rigorous quality assurance processes to maintain the integrity, functionality, and security of applications during and after transitions. Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. Performance Metrics: Define, track, and report on key Transition KPIs (Key performance indicators) to measure the success and impact of application transition projects. Continuously refine processes & plan based on data-driven insights. Documentation: Maintain meticulous documentation of application transition processes, configurations, and changes. Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and accessible. Compliance: Ensure that all BSS and OSS application transitions adhere to stringent regulatory and security standards, including GDPR, ISO, and industry-specific requirements. Qualifications: More than 15 years of IT/project management experience including IT service transition and management of project team across multiple vendors & and multi-location teams (across globe) Proven track record of successfully leading one or two complex application transition projects involving BSS and OSS systems in IT Telecom Domain, from initial planning through execution and optimization on time and within budget. Ability to identify and manage risks and dependencies, and develop strategies to mitigate them Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to analyze complex technical challenges related to BSS and OSS. Ability to work with multiple vendors and managing the various vendors & their contracts Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is highly desirable. Strong project management skills and experience in managing large, complex IT Telecom projects involving multiple vendors Must be Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).
