At Gympass, you not only have the opportunity to build a career in a fast-paced global environment - but you'll make wellbeing universal, so everyone can be happy and healthy.THE OPPORTUNITYWe are hiring a Language Lead for our Marketing team in Spain !Gympass is seeking a Language Lead to support the localization and adaptation of marketing assets for our es-ES Marketing comms.The successful candidate will play an active role in our recently created Localization Center of Excellence for our Marketing teams, which will secure a successful setup for global communications to consistently produce locally relevant assets that truly resonate with the different target audiences, by generating effective translations & cross-cultural adaptations thus driving revenue through improved user experience.This position will report directly to our Localization Manager and involves a strong sense of collaboration and effective communication with the rest of the Localization team, external vendors, and key stakeholders across Gympass.This new Gympasser will become the expert voice and go-to expert for all Spain-related queries (language, culture, market) and help ensure that Gympass delivers a native Spanish experience.YOUR IMPACT- Demonstrate a sound understanding of Gympass's different target audiences (client, partners, end users), brand and style guides, as well as any language tool to achieve a consistent and locally resonant tone of voice for all comms across channels and different audiences.- Review,QA, and evaluate translations from English into Spanish (Spain) to ensure they meet the brief (format, tone of voice, language, style) and the brand and message are relevant in the local market for a high-quality localized experience.Also, perform brief translations when required.- Manage localization and adaptation requests from Gympass stakeholders with our team of approved translation agencies, following the approved processes and making sure projects are delivered by the agreed target date with the highest quality standards.- Develop strong and effective relationships with internal stakeholders, 3rd party translation vendors, and lead linguists to deliver the right language quality per content type.- Provide constructive feedback to the local talent when appropriate,actively participate in root-cause analysis and issue prevention, and escalate quality issues to help find a way to always keep the highest quality standards.- Support Terminology and TM clean-up activities regularly to maintain glossaries, style guidelines, and translation memories up to date and always relevant.Also, help build and maintain a library of approved assets and l10n best practices.- Analyze assets and creative concepts from localization and cross-cultural point of view for local relevancy and provide feedback to marketers, product owners, or other stakeholders, highlighting any potential opportunities to improve the Gympass experience in the local market.- Engage in the creative development process of marketing campaigns to help Gympass find the right voice in the local languages.- Support experimentation and product marketing with cross-cultural insights to drive forward effectiveness and growth, as well as help optimize and streamline the localization setup for Marketing at Gympass.- Live the mission : inspire and empower others by genuinely caring for your own wellbeing and your team's.
