What you will do: Dual Cap of Thinking and Implementing: Develop and implement strategies to lower costs and optimize profitability for the airline.Financial Performance Optimization: Analyze financial data, operating KPIs, and market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and margin enhancement.Innovative Solutions: Embrace creativity and innovation to seek new ways of streamlining processes and minimizing expenses, whether it's implementing advanced analytics tools or negotiating vendor contracts.Key Senior Business Partner: Provide strategic guidance to senior management on financial decisions and business initiatives.Continuous Improvement Mindset: Continuously evaluate and identify areas for improvement. Through ongoing analysis and feedback, you contribute to a culture of continuous improvement that drives Volotea toward greatness.What you will need: Proven Track Record: Previous experience, 3-5 years in a consulting role – preferably with aviation clients. A good track record in successfully using strategy for reducing costs and/or increasing profitability.Quantitative Skills: Whether it's crunching data or performing complex calculations, strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data are important for this role.Ambition and Drive: The role is ideal for high-performing individuals who are hungry for success. Your relentless drive to excel and exceed expectations will be key driving forces.Excellent communication skills: Fluency in English is a must, with fluency in Spanish a plus. French or Italian also a plus.
