DescriptionField is an international builder, owner, operator, of renewable infrastructure. Our Founder and CEO is a successful entrepreneur who previously co-founded a green energy supplier. We have robust pipelines of BESS projects across the UK, Italy, Spain, and Germany - and strong financial backing. Our most recent fundraise was a £200 million investment from DIF Capital Partners. This will support our mission to grow internationally, and ultimately to build and develop a robust global BESS portfolio.

We have ambitious plans to become the defining new clean energy player in Europe over the next few years, gradually expanding beyond batteries into new asset types.
Your Mission: We are looking for an experienced FP&A professional to support the continued development of the business. You would support the existing team (Danny and Brecht) in building a Best-In-Class FP&A function, leading on Business Partnering and stakeholder reporting. The successful individual will have had experience both in FP&A and the energy/construction industry, with strong strategic planning & modelling skills.

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness partnering:Act as a Strategic Financial Partner to our Country Leads, to help them manage their rapid growth.Collaborate closely with operational teams to monitor divisional performance, understand project economics and key drivers of growth.Financial forecasting & reportingAssist in all aspects of financial planning, forecasting, and analytics, including annual planning, P&L forecast, cash flow forecasts, and department budgetsPrepare the monthly board reporting pack and present components to internal and external stakeholders.Data Visualization & AnalyticsDesign and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualisations to present financial and operational data in a clear and compelling manner.Utilise data visualisation best practices to tell stories, highlight trends, and communicate key insights to stakeholders.Financial ModellingAssess the financial viability of new projects and entering new marketsUnderstand Field's performance drivers, using financial and operational analysis to identify risks and opportunities Skills, Knowledge and ExpertiseA bit about you Comfortable with uncertainty - Field is fast moving and operating in new markets, it won't always be easy!Enthusiasm and curiosity about the energy industry Clear, impactful communicator, able to articulate complex financial information to technical, and non-technical audiences.Thrives in autonomous work environments with a positive and proactive approach.Humble and hands-on team player, necessary in a small company environmentAbility to collaborate at all levels, including senior managementMultitasker that can manage time effectively, and plan across multiple initiativesThe skills you'll need 3+ Years PQE2+ years in FP&A roleEnergy or Construction industry experienceExperience with presenting complex financial data to senior stakeholdersExceptional project management skill set BenefitsSalary: £85,000 - £95,000
