Are you an experienced pharmaceutical industry sales manager looking for an exciting opportunity to set up, build, lead, and direct new teams across the EU?
If so, come and join IQVIA's International Projects team. We specialize in building, deploying, and managing sales, medical affairs, and non-promotional field-based teams as part of multi country projects and are looking for new leaders due to our continued success.
Applicants can be based anywhere in Spain or Portugal as this is a field / home based position.
Responsibilities :
Strategic Project Management : Lead projects with durations ranging from 1 to 5 years.Manage teams of 10 to 100 professionals across 2 to 10 countries.Oversee annual service revenue values ranging from €5 million to €50 million.Talent Acquisition and Development : Direct the hiring and selection process for international project staff.Conduct candidate reviews and participate in interviews.Foster professional development, reward excellence, and address employee relations.Operational Excellence : Translate client strategies into actionable plans.Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure successful project delivery.Collaborate with local and international project managers for gold standard service.Client Engagement : Serve as the primary point of contact with clients.Align projects with customer objectives.Chair project governance steering committees with C-suite customer contacts.Strategic Guidance : Provide proactive guidance to optimize project objectives and drive efficiencies.Collaborate with local country operations and other International Project Directors.Qualifications : Experience : Significant experience in strategic planning and leading medical sales teams within the pharmaceutical industry.Language Skills : Fluency in English is essential as it will be the common language when dealing with internal stake holders and team members based in other countries.Education : Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.Soft Skills : Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required.
