.Job Description - Service Manager Digital Workplace (MER00033BR) Description A Digital Workplace Services Manager is responsible for managing and ensuring the smooth operation of an organization's digital workplace services, including hardware, software, applications, and communication tools. The primary focus of the role is to enable employees to be productive and efficient by providing them with the necessary tools and technologies. Description of role and responsibilities Develop and implement digital workplace strategies that align with the organization's goals. Manage day-to-day operations of digital workplace services, including hardware, software, and communication tools. Ensure operational efficiency and meet employee needs through digital workplace services. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for new solutions and upgrades. Develop and maintain a budget for digital workplace services. Train and support employees in using digital workplace tools and technologies. Develop metrics to measure the effectiveness of digital workplace services. Lead a team, providing guidance and support in the digital workplace domain. Continuous adaptation to evolving technologies and practices in the digital workplace space. Qualifications Education degree &technical experience Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or a related field. Technical knowledge/Accountabilities In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365 products, including SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, and Office apps. Proficiency in configuring and customizing SharePoint sites, Teams channels, and Power Apps. Understanding of business models, particularly within the context of digital workplaces. Microsoft certifications in relevant technologies, such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate or Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, are highly desirable. Reading, writing and fluent conversation Other Language German is desirable: Reading, writing and conversation helpful. Experience 3+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and supporting digital workplace environments focused on Microsoft 365 products. Experience managing a team of digital workplace services professionals. Proven ability and experience to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for troubleshooting complex issues
