You would be joining a small data team within Commercial who is tasked with building and improving our pricing engine, and ultimately targeting smart automation. The role is a hybrid full-time position at ourBarcelona Hub(2 days per week).What you will contribute:Help build the pricing infrastructure at Grover which includes improving and automating current models as well as creating innovative new approachesDrive system design initiatives to optimize processesDrive our scientific roadmap to build a price-demand relationshipDesign clear experiment frameworks to analyze and operationalize relevant elasticity KPIs in Grover's Commercial teamLook at further economic factors like supply, costs, and competition to finetune the key insightsWork closely with pricing analysts, data team, and commercial stakeholders to understand the business requirementsCommunicate your findings and R&D initiatives to upper management to show incremental value adds to Grover's unique business modeWhat you bring:A Master's or Ph.D. in a quantitative field (eg Natural Science, Economics, Computing, etc)At least 5 years of hands-on work experience in Data Science, including 2 years that were focused on pricing models or similar commercial topicsAdvanced quantitative and programming skills with the ability to process data with SQL (Redshift)and Python (Pandas, Numpy)Experiment design and statistical analysis skills with the ability to share key insights with all your stakeholdersUnderstand, and have experience training and deploying supervised and unsupervised machine learning algorithms, with particular applications to time-series datasetsA passion for building models and solving complex problems independentlyStrong communication skills in English (C1)Nice to haves:Experience using Kubernetes infrastructure for building automationA/B testing experienceExperience using Google APIs?
