We will consider candidates based in various European countries.The Global Product Management teams at QIAGEN work cross functionally to actively support sales and product development teams to enable effective product launch and budget achievement. We have an exciting new opportunity for a (Senior) Global Product Manager to join our PCR Core Laboratory Franchise – Infectious Diseases with a focus on the NeuMoDx instrumentation and associated assays.Key responsibilities:Work in interdisciplinary project teams as the voice of customer throughout all project phases from requirements setting to the launch of new in-vitro diagnostic instrumentsDevelop and implement marketing and launch plans in collaboration with regional marketing teams, monitor and coordinate the implementation of activities according to planAssess market demands and user needs and develop market entry strategies for new productsManage product launches including training of trainers and toolbox for training, work with Marketing Centers of Excellence to produce marketing and technical literature on time and in budgetProduct Maintenance: ongoing care and support of product line, including monitoring customer satisfaction, competitor activity, new customer needs and sales support materials, product changes.Position Requirements Please ensure you submit your application in EnglishScientific degree (or equivalent employment experience), PhD and/ or MBA degree is a plusSignificant working experience in a Product Management (or similar) role in the Life Science/ IVD industryEssential: knowledge of molecular diagnostics with specific focus on PCR and infectious diseasesFluent written and spoken English, good knowledge of a second language is a plusAbility and willingness to travel internationally around 20%What we offer At the heart of QIAGEN are our people who drive our success
